The Secrets Buried Under a Family Tree by Ellen Goodman
I’m always excited when someone famous gets on the “need to know your family history” bandwagon so I was particularly excited when Ellen Goodman wrote this column for the Boston Globe last week. It just points out how often we know so little about those closest to us until we start digging a little deeper.
When the New England Historic Genealogical Society recently published the family connections of current presidential candidates, Goodman decided to do a bit of investigating into her own family connections and found some startling information about her own grandparents, shown in the photo on the right.
Read her terrific article and then start your own digging!
